In 2008 Kailash founded the Center for Conscious Hindu Studies, a non-profit organization that provides theological education to students with a focus on spiritual philosophy and ethics. The Center also offers opportunities for educational classes and lectures with its staff of Hindu scholars. Kailash Rana is currently an Associate Professor at American University in Washington D.C., where he has been teaching since 2000.
